Born in approximately 1540 in Ruderswil Switzerland, I have just found that this man is Ken Abbott's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather. I have found that Ulrich was the owner of the Saw Mill of Schwanden in the parish community of Ruderswil, Switzerland.
Church registers in Ruderswil were not kept until beginning in 1554, so I have not yet found the parents of Ulrich.
I would love any help pointing me in the right direction on where to look from here!
